Project Progress Update
The project replaces an existing packaged AC unit that is located on an existing concrete pad that serves the mat room training area for the police academy.
Upcoming Milestones:
- Bid walks scheduled January 30 and February 6, 2026
- Bids received February 17, 2026. Contract to be awarded at Board Meeting March 12, 2026
- Contract awarded to Able Heating and Air March 12, 2026.
- Able Heating and Air to mobilize onsite on April 23, 2026.
- New HVAC unit expected to be delivered on June 8, 2026.
Project Features
- Replace the existing packaged air-conditioning unit.
- Existing unit is located on an existing concrete pad.
- Unit serves the mat room training area of the police academy.
- New unit will be appropriately sized to meet the room’s load requirements.
- Design will be based on a readily available replacement packaged AC unit.
